Chi è davvero il cattivo nella storia del Pifferaio? Lo spettacolo rilegge la fiaba mettendo in discussione i ruoli tradizionali: il Pifferaio, colpevole di un gesto estremo, agisce in risposta all’inganno dei cittadini, a loro volta responsabili di promesse non mantenute. In questo intreccio di responsabilità, le conseguenze ricadono soprattutto sui più fragili: i bambini.
Guidati da un narratore, gli spettatori sono invitati a scegliere quale storia ascoltare, entrando nei punti di vista dei protagonisti — il Pifferaio e una madre — e attraversando le loro emozioni. In uno spazio aperto, tra prato e sentiero, il pubblico si muove fisicamente nella narrazione, vivendo un’esperienza immersiva che stimola uno sguardo critico sulle scelte e sulle responsabilità di ciascuno.
Who is really the villain in the story of the Pied Piper? The show reinterprets the fairy tale by challenging traditional roles: the Pied Piper, guilty of an extreme act, acts in response to the citizens’ deceit, who are themselves responsible for broken promises. In this web of responsibility, the consequences fall most heavily on the most vulnerable: the children.
Guided by a narrator, the audience are invited to choose which story to listen to, stepping into the perspectives of the protagonists — the Pied Piper and a mother — and experiencing their emotions. In an open space, between a meadow and a path, the audience physically moves through the narrative, enjoying an immersive experience that encourages a critical look at everyone’s choices and responsibilities.
